GCSE results 2015: ​Abu Bakr Girls School in Walsall


Staff and pupils at Abu Bakr Girls School are again celebrating impressive GCSE results.

This year the pass rate (A*-C grades) at the school was 81 per cent with nearly 64 per cent of pupils achieving C or above in both mathematics and English Language. Just under 25 per cent of all the grades awarded were at the A* or A grade.

Head teacher Hasina Varachia said: "I am delighted that the hard work, commitment and dedication of our Year 11 pupils and their teachers has been rewarded with such an excellent set of GCSE results.

"At Abu Bakr Girls School we continually strive to challenge all of our pupils and these results show the excellent progress pupils have made during their time at our school."
